I am so glad. Cakes are not off-the-rack. They are a one-off artistic creation.
What I think is that people of conviction need to be more tactful about declining work. "I'm so sorry. I don't have artwork I can reproduce for that kind cake." "I'm sorry, we are not available for your event." And I would have a few phone numbers of people who have no problem making a cake of their event. "Let me make a call."
