ok, this is totally random, but that's what makes life fun, I got an email from my kid's school today, it was about her "Social Emotional Learning" class...when I was in school they called it "family life", before that it was something like "sex ed"...anyway, the email subject line was "A discussion about SEL". I thought of Alan instantly. still miss him.

Someone @ the WG Forum recently posted an unentered bill that had a lobster stamp on it the other day. Don't remember if he had that as a Sig Stamp, but it did bring up his memory.

I had a few private conversations with him before he died. I miss him. Thanks for bringing him up, J. {{hug}}

Yep, was thinking about him last week. He was a good balance on this board. I always liked his *ahem* admiration of 'Governor' Palin.

Never really notice that.
But I did notice how he saw both sides, could understand them, and debate them without insults and giving honest backup of what he reported.

Not only that, he used legible English with understandable grammar and spelling; that was always useful. That he did, and unlike others he did not use it as a distraction or misdirection when he had nothing of value to add to a debate.
