The Federal Government should work for America, sometimes this does mean helping out states in unexpected troubles. What you forgot to copy ... I have trouble how just bringing funding is "bringing home the bacon" is doing the job the Federal Government was elected forthat's a bit of a turnaround from a few days ago when you said unexpected troubles are the states' responsibility conservativetakes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=economy&thread=5441&page=1When you read it all, I see no turn around. Still others might. Just what makes you think my view has change? Or do you think I see bad planing for expenses as unexpected trouble? Well, it is trouble for the state, but should not concern the Federal Government at all. At lest not to the point of a bail out. Even floods, storms and rocks falling from the sky can be plan for. But I will agree if the amount of damage for acts of nature go past an expected cost a "loan" from the Federal Government (if the funds are there) could be made. On the lighter side, it is good to see you can remember past posts and work with them in trying to make a point.
