Oh this is rich, the do nothing congress will- in desperation allow a vote on maintaining tax cuts for 98% and then the Teapublicans will vote 'present ', the Dens voting yea would pass the bill and Teapublicans won't be blamed for the tax increases their inaction would otherwise have caused. Didn't you whine and moan that then state Rep Obama had voted present on occasion? Why is it ok now? Wait, I know, no principles. Oops, forgot the link... abcnews.go.com/politics/t/blogEntry?id=17866846

Such a scenario would force Obama and congressional Democrats to address massive spending cuts as soon as they return from the holiday recess.
It would also guarantee another debt ceiling showdownSorry, your link did not work so I did a Google search and came up with this. If, and I mean if. The only thing this bill does is raise taxes on the wealthy then the Democrats will have part of there wish come true. And yes, I do believe all present should vote. Now where does the tea party come in at? Still, only voting on a tax increase still shows what the Democrat party really wants. Which is not to fix the problem which after 4 years is fully Obama problem. But just to raise taxes. Thanks for sharing this showing the true colors of the Democrats. But knowing Democrats, they will try and slip something else in.

More true colors of the Democrats. It is long past time to stop demands and to work on a true deal, one the people can live with.
Obama willing to go over fiscal cliff, according to White House leaks
White House sources are telling Democratic reporters that the president is willing to go over the so-called “fiscal cliff” if GOP leaders don’t agree to his demand for higher tax rates on the wealthy without substantive spending cuts.
A political deadlock would mean an automatic tax increase for middle-class and wealthy Americans on January 1, and the opportunity for Obama and the Democrats to push a tax-cutting bill for middle-class voters in 2013, say the White House officials, who leaked the claim to two liberal columnists.
Republican lawmakers, including House Speaker John Boehner, say they are opposed to any increase in tax rates, but have said they would vote to increase tax revenues by ending tax breaks used by wealthier Americans. Why all the rush to increase taxes if placing a limit on tax breaks can be done? Oh, right, the Democrats in power count on the tax breaks. After all, you pay less on investments then on earnings. hummm would this mean Democrats are poor earners? After all, before WII the middle class did not have taxes to worry about. And now they do. I wonder how much of a tax increase there will be during the next 50 years?
