I just finished reading Jimmy Buffett's A Salty Piece of Land. I know it is fiction, but I found a lot of interesting thoughts in this book.
In the Epilogue Buffett talks about the need for escapism. This book was one that you definately escape for a little while.
One of the characters is 101 years old and I wrote down several things that she had said.
The only criticism I have on this book is the fact it was one I could put down. However, I did want to see what would happen next.

After reading the reviews, which sound good by the way. It seems like it might be a good series.

After reading the reviews, which sound good by the way. It seems like it might be a good series. I hadn't read anything on it - just the book. I found it in a coffee shop. I wouldn't have thought that it would be a series. It seemed to have a good conclusion.
I guess they could go off on the adventures of characters such as In-Xay and Montana.
