Now I want to lose my breakfast! Margery Eagan By Margery Eagan Sunday, March 15, 2009Oh yea, still spending money like it is going out of style. You know this isn’t just about taxes. It’s about what we need and can’t afford while the sneaky and greedy retire early, double dip, fake disabilities, work one day for a year’s pay, etc., etc., and get away with it. Struggling New Bedford so far has lost 38 police officers and 38 firefighters. Among them is new father Leo Pike, now on his third tour of duty in Iraq. We can’t pay him. But we can pay Marian, all those legislators and all their friends.

That's it exactly, Max. All these politicians think they are entitled. Venality will do them in just like it did the Republicans in 06. Eventually it will get the Dems (although not in Massachusetts, maybe).
From Ted Stevens and Charlie Rangel to Duke Cunningham and Dollar Bill Jackson and at all levels they're spoiled and rotten.

Hopefully it will get all who feel they are above the people who put them into office.

This is why you all need to get personally involved. We're preaching to the choir here. Get busy and make some noise.
After I reported rules violations at my county party convention, someone asked me if I would be willing to say what I saw on camera. My reply, "I've got on lipstick. Sure. Let's go."
My mantra: Get involved. Get involved. Get involved. We are losing access. We have got to be willing to go toe to toe with these chuckleheads if we expect anything to happen. The crap has been rolling downhill long enough. It's time to flush.

Don't be so hot for issues. Think probity and then issues.
