By Ron Paul. Dr. Paul has had a lot of face time since the election, and now that I have time to sit down with one of his books, I am inspired by what he says and how he says it. His thoughtful and simple analysis of US government and the Constitituion are wonderful. He is poetic and truthful, but never mean. Step by step, he creates a picture that shows a modern America as the Founding Fathers would have seen it.
Totally cool.

My friend at work has the book and read it, but I have yet to. He said it was a great read. He also read Dr. Paul's last book, which I also have yet to read. Sheesh, after contributing $500+ to his campaign, you'd figure I'd at least buy his books too.

In doing a google search on the subject (and adding to global warming ;) ) seems to me this might be about the same as Obamas little book.
It was written during his 2008 campaign, from what I can understand. Which would bring to my mind why buy the book (the same reason I would not have brought Obamas book) if I had no reason to support him in the election?
However, unless I was to read it, I have no reason to agree (or doubt) the statement about the "Step by step, he creates a picture that shows a modern America as the Founding Fathers would have seen it. "
But I might have to read a little of it to find out if his views might come close to my own.

Sorry to break the news, Dr. Paul didn't write a book for the sole purpose of selling himself to get elected, as Mr. Obama did. Paul has been authoring books on libertarianism, conservatism, and Austrian economic principles since the late '70s or '80s and has written books since he ceased his presidential bid. As far as his views coming close to yours, well, they came pretty close to another Ron, after all... a Ron name Reagan, whom the GOP would be well-served to better emulate:

Maybe I am mistaken about the book The Revolution: A Manifesto. But this statement The Revolution: A Manifesto is a New York Times #1 best seller by Republican U.S. Congressman Ron Paul. According to Paul, the book is based on written notes during his 2008 presidential campaign. does make me question the book under discussion.
