Conservative Christian organizations are joining forces to defend traditional values they believe are under assault in the U.S. today.
The new coalition, called the Freedom Federation, unites black and Hispanic evangelicals with the American Family Association, Concerned Women for America, the Family Research Council, and other groups.
Leaders of those organizations gathered in Washington Tuesday to strategize how they can work together against abortion, pornography, same-sex "marriage," and threats to parental rights and religious liberty. A press release states that the group "encompasses individuals of different races, faiths, and backgrounds who are committed to the preservation of freedom and American values, founded on the Judeo-Christian tradition."
