Elected Officials Salaries seem to have had the highest percentage of agreement.
I would take it to mean that many people are starting to think the government is not worth there pay.

Once again, the voters have delivered a message to both parties.
And once again, both parties will ignore that message.
Rush L was predicting yesterday that CA will be bailed out by Obama, and I'm afraid that he's right.

As an aside, I used to live in that state, and am glad that I got out. The one thing I noticed while living there was that all bond measures there were approved (the exception was a one billion dollar bond measure for highways in 1990), and I would ask myself, "don't the voters realize that these will have to be repaid with interest?"
The voters were also quick to approve initiatives to mandate a certain percentage being spent for education, etc.. These effectively tied the legislator's hands. Note that I am very much in favor of the initiative process and do not want any reforms to it, even if the voters do stupid things with those initiatives.
Their choice now is to either take the medicine, or to repeal some (maybe all) of the spending mandates that they gave the legislature.

There may just be a small glimmer of hope whe Cali actually rejects government. Now it will be interesting to see how things pan out when "their" program comes under the axe.
