Not here, but jeffro says he has heard of episodes of just this in the 3rd World. Joe So I guess that means your accusations are baseless. Tell me what my accusations were again. jeffro said he has heard of this phenom. in the 3rd World. I said I could see how that could happen. Joe

Nice deflection, Joe. Now...can you give us any instance of Christians withholding any type of help from someone unless that person "converts"? Not here, but jeffro says he has heard of episodes of just this in the 3rd World. Joe I've read my post several times, and I don't find the part where I said anything about hearing about help being withheld from anyone. Perhaps it's because I never said that. I said: "They would have my respect and gratitude if they did such generous things without putting a price on their "gifts". Exploiting the needs of the hungry and homeless in order to sell their message is far from charitable. " There are many ways to exploit someone's needs without tacitly saying that they must convert in order to eat.

They are demonstrating the love and compassion that Jesus showed to those in need. I hardly see that as a "price".

JoeYou have accused all Christians of just about every evil thing imaginable, based on a limited number of experiences you have personally had. I cannot see where "millions" of Christians kept you from getting a promotion on your job, yet you paint with such a broad brush.

Maybe, maybe not, but 99% of you people just follow blindly in zombie-lke fashion your Preacher Man Of The Day, so I have one vote of No Confidence in Jim Jones style behaviour modification where no one thinks for oneself. Like the moslem "major" that shot up Ft. Hood------ nothing more than a robot zombie controlled from Mecca. Joe

We also had Moonies, Krishna's and several other non-main stream "religions" in my area. I looked into several of those and rejected them as they did not offer what I was seeking. I am not part of the 99% of the "you people" that you referred to. There is a world of difference between spirituality and religion. I do not consider myself spiritual or religious.
