Funny thing is I doubt that anyone in the Prayer & Wellness forum ever beggeg H to close the Adult forum. But the Adult forum begged to close the PF. Go figure. Tolerance in action my friends. Can someone tell me if my "What is your favorite primary color" ;)thread I started in the Wacky Forum is still going or did The Man hex it out? Joe |

The PF was closed simply because I was trying to find a workable solution, and instead, all I got was crap thrown at me. If you wanted the PF to stay open, why didn't anyone HELP the situation? |

I never read the AF, so whatever they were saying (however tolerant or intolerant) had no effect on my decision to close the PF.
The PF was closed simply because I was trying to find a workable solution, and instead, all I got was crap thrown at me. If you wanted the PF to stay open, why didn't anyone HELP the situation? What kind of "help" were you expecting? Simple "yes" or "no" answers? You asked for opinions and you got 'em. You didn't like them, so you took action. I think you intended to close it down anyway; you just needed something to justify your actions. |

I would have liked to see us given the chance to self-police. But we were not asked for our ideas (if I remember correctly). We were simply told it's your way ($20 pay-to-play) or the highway. And again, why were we not given the option of being a "hidden forum" a la the AF? |

And again, why were we not given the option of being a "hidden forum" a la the AF? I found out about the whole fiasco after the GBDM, but this was what I couldn't figure out. Just make it a hidden forum, to gain admittance, instead of having to prove your age, you simply have to agree that you give up any and all rights to whine about someone hurting your feelings or otherwise offending you. Done, simple, end of story. While my inclination is to believe that Hank wasn't seeking to make any profit off it, but just receive some compensation for the "extra time involved", this would have required no more effort, and arguably less, than the current AF process, so I can also understand the accusations that he was trying to profit from it. |

The forums have no heart anymore. The " where is this, where can I find deuces and is this dumping etc." posts all have their place in the forums of course. I genuinely miss subscribing to a new hot thread or forming a rebuttal. It's just no fun anymore. I never thought I'd say " I miss Judy." I'm tired seeing cheaters on WG It makes me mad to see the same bill(s) on the Site Summary / Hits Today pages get hit every couple of days / weeks / month, sometimes with hundreds or thousands of miles in between supposed locations, racking up hit after hit on the same bill. I'm not saying it's being done by the initial bill owner... Probably not. Idk. I'm sure sometimes it's done by 'mistake'- someone who doesn't understand that they can use the "Enter A Bill" on the 'Favorite Bill LookUp' page to find a bill's current location, rather than using "Enter A Bill" on the 'Welcome to Where's George?' page *(although on both screens, it Does say "Enter A Bill". I guess that could be on of my 'Suggestion's) I wish there were an automated system-wide non-Hank checkup that scans & corrects / deletes each re-entry and location by the IP address. Or however else he / they / we can tell. To think that there are SO Many false hits makes me want to protect mine that much more. I do wish that I was able to verify the locations for all my hit bills. |

Why didn't anyone help? Gee, I kinda thought I was helping you by pointing out that you would not be insulating yourself from copyright problems with your plan. Maybe saving you some legal headaches. And for my trouble, I was banned. Well, Happy Freakin New Year to you. When you find out you are wrong on copyright law (and tax law, for that matter), what are you going to ban yourself from?
