Max, what were you listening for that you didn't hear? I'm curious, because I do not like the governor, but I thought he did quite well in presenting his message. I'm not sure what the President hoped to accomplish. He has never seemed to me to be quite in touch with his positions or to own them very well at all. To me, in the beginning it seem as if Obama had place the Governor into defending his stand. Granted, it changed as the debate went on. Both seem to think the "facts" given could not be checked. ~chuckle~ www.wral.com/fact-check-presidential-debate-missteps/11623314/ and yet even this left leaning station could not tear apart Romney facts as well as it did Obama. But, to give you an answer, I wanted it to be just simple truth from both of them. Such as how to get the Federal government out of trying to do the States job. Such as Schools, fire and police. I do like to keep things as simple as I can.

I think Romney was pretty clear he thinks education is a 10th amendment issue. I don't think we can expect a candidate to nail down a plan he can implement 100% because there is a process to these things. Simply knowing Romney is bringing all spending up for evaluation is something we have not heard.

Oh agree ... but it has been a long time coming in being address in any manner, other then lets toss more money at it.
