I wonder what she'd say?

She would say, "I wish I were twins so I could spread judicial fiat at twice the pace."

I think (and this is just my humble opinion) she would change the word white to black.

www.scotusblog.com/wp/judge-sotomayor-and-race-results-from-the-full-data-set/Instead of feeding off of one sentence that she made, why not scrutinize the actual cases that she's heard over the years that are race related? After all, she's heard 96 cases involving race. Her decisions show her to be a fair, even minded judge, far from being the bigot or racist that the right is portraying her to be.

Like the left doesn't harp on a single phrase or sentence.

There is more then race in making a choice. For one, how many cases has she had challenge? Of those cases, how many have been overturn? In making her choices, how many of the cases was making the law instead of following the law as written? Since I do not wish to take the time to try and find every case she has dealt with, and what the finial outcome was. I do (to a point) have to trust what is reported by the news. So far, the news I hear seems to be that she does feel like her judgment is better then a white mans. True or not making such a statement is not a wise thing to do. For it shows she will play favorites in her judgment. To bad the people will not during the next election remember (for good or ill) how there congressperson voted and it they supported congress in there choice.

She simply should not have made the White Male comment. I wouldn't say it "offended" me, but it sure would put me on guard against this lady as I am an older white male. I still stick by my conviction that she should not be confirmed, and yes, just for this single statement. It's been said a thousand times in 10 days but I will reiterate it.............."What if a White Man would have said 'my experiences as a white man would probably put me in a better position than a latin female' etc., etc., etc.? His career would be toast and he would do well just to retire and get out of the public eye before people started calling him a Klansman.
Yes, I am a proud Lefty and always will be, but The Left Intelligenstia (limouisine Liberals) need to look out for over 40 Caucasian males like me too, and not just operate on some kind of weird "color scale", where the whiter you are, the "guilty-er" you must be, even if you never even got a parking ticket in your life. Yes, I have major problems with the entrenched Left brain-trust.

Offended or not, people do sometimes mis-speak so I can overlook the slip of the tongue from time to time. But from the few cases in the news it seems as if she is trying to make the law and not enforce it. Making her unqualified to me.
But others can use race to distract from if she would do her job or not. And they will get away with doing it.

Also, the Hartford Fire Dept. case should be considered. 9 white guys are up for promotion because they are the only ones who qualified, and none get promoted because no black firefighter could meet the qualifications. Sodamayor sided against the White Males. Surprise, surprise. Joe

Joey, I so agree with you. I'm so sick of the man bashing I could just die. If all the men on earth disappeared tomorrow I'd go jump off a bridge.
I need strength and truth in my life. I need safety. I don't get that from women. I'm also worn out with grown men who act like little boys. Grow the **** up and be a man.
Keep it up Joey, and I'm not kidding.
